Adult Respite Care

Take a Break with Adult Respite Care

Adult Respite Care is an opportunity for both the caregiver and their loved one to get some much-needed time. For the caregiver, it’s a chance to get things done. For their loved one it is a chance to develop skills and fellowship in a well-prepared environment. Programs are offered in Summerville Monday-Thursday and on Wednesdays in Harleyville to give family caregivers a much-needed break from the stress of round-the-clock caregiving. Respite programs also keep loved ones with memory issues connected to their community through fellowship, meaningful activities and fun that enhances their independence and self-esteem.

Volunteers assist with respite care, often giving one-on-one attention to members.

All respite programs are from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m
