Reaching Out to the Community

The ARK of SC began our work in 1996 and has been continuing ever since. A huge part of what we do involve the community. Not only serving the caregivers that we do but also connecting with the community and raising awareness with them about ADRD so they too can join us in this effort. Throughout the year we are constantly offering many events, from classes to fun runs and everything in between, in order to connect caregivers and the community. It is so important because it helps us remind them that they’re not alone.

None of our classes or community events would be possible without the support of our incredible sponsors. Since 1996, The ARK of SC has been providing hope and relief for caregivers and their loved ones living with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias (ADRD) through support services such as respite care, support groups, education, caregiver consultations, resource referrals, and community development. Every dollar we take in supports those programs and helps us set up related events to raise even more funding.
