June is Alzheimer's and Brain Health Awareness Month

Join us as we recognize June as National Alzheimer's and Brain Health Awareness Month! This month is all about raising awareness of Alzheimer's Disease and learning how to maintain a healthy brain.

How to take action for Alzheimer's and Brain Health Awareness Month:
1. Join us in taking on the Hilarity for Charity's Brain Health Challenge for the month!
2. Start incorporating positive, everyday actions that can make a difference in brain health. Take a look at these
10 healthy Habits for your brain from The Alzheimer's Association.
3. The National Institute on Aging is raising awareness about Alzheimer's Disease among the Latino community. Throughout the month, they will be sharing information, research and resources on dementia, caregiving, and clinical trials in English and Spanish. Each week will focus on different topics related to Alzheimer's.

4. If you are worried about memory loss for yourself or a loved one,
schedule a FREE memory screening with The ARK. This preliminary and educational test is intended to help facilitate a meaningful discussion between the patient and his/her doctor or qualified healthcare professional. Screenings typically take 15-20 minutes. The ARK is certified by The Alzheimer's Foundation of America to provide these screenings.
