Part - Time Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 3:00
Mission Statement:
The ARK of SC provides hope and relief to families living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia (ADRD). The program allows caregivers a much needed break from caregiving responsibilities. The care receivers are able to socialize with one another in a program of social activities tailored to their needs in a loving and caring atmosphere of complete acceptance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent in experience) preferred
- Experience working with seniors and those with ADRD and their caregivers
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills; with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring constant forward movement
- Ability to keep the big picture in mind while also paying close attention to details
- Ability to have calm and gracious composure at all times
- Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner at all times
Duties and Responsibilities:
- A strong commitment to our mission of providing opportunities for families living with
Alzheimer’s disease or related Dementia is essential
- Communicate well with Executive Director on everyday operations
- Assist with program as needed
- Be kind, empathetic, and compassionate with the “members of The ARK Club” as well as the caregivers, volunteers, and staff
- Receive and record all messages on phone log and direct calls as needed to staff members
- Maintain all participant files
- Tabulate incoming tuition payments, memorials, donations, grant funds, fundraising funds; Record on deposit detail and summary and make bank deposits; balance credit card statements with receipts
- Print timesheets for hourly employees
- Maintain roster of members of the Club, volunteers & transportation logs
- Prepare and mail out acknowledgement and thank you letters to donors
- Ensure monthly billing to caregivers and scholarship sources is timely, maintain billing data, scholarships, and grants use
- Prep, set up the bi-monthly Board of Directors meetings; prepare the bi-monthly minutes during meetings and maintain board book and records
- Multi-tasking throughout the year with multiple fundraisers (Dancing With The ARK’S Stars, Race for The ARK, Annual Fund Drive, and other events as developed)
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories
- Maintain office and program supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; lending library, resources, brochures etc. management
- Assist NOAH staff with running copies for notebooks for the educational classes as needed
- Be flexible to perform other responsibilities as needed by the Executive Director and other staff

Pay Range
- $16 - 19 per hour
